Perspective. It's a moth much closer to the cameral than the vehicle.

Interesting fun fact: when angels were first described, it was nothing like the winged, graceful creatures we all know. They were decidedly different entities. The human brain and eye are wired to seek out human features; it usually results in Mary in a sprinkler stain on a wall or Jesus on a piece of toast.

Personally, I think if heaven was going to pull off a miracle, it'd be a little more concrete and meaningful than a water stain or amorphous white smear.

@Graylight In the bible and all mythological accounts angels have a very bad violent streak, their like mermaids. Mermaids were depicted as nice nature like females but in reality they lure sailors to their deaths (though I think it's just a misogynistic woman hating myth to be honest.)

That's why I like the show Supernatural. Yeah I'm atheist in a sense, but I like to think Supernatural does the most realistic view if Gods ever existed 😂😆

Castiel or Eve were my favorites on the show 🤗😍

@SatanBurger (Gabriel:) I'm an angel. I kill firstborns while their mamas watch. I turn cities into salt. I even, when I feel like it, rip the souls from little girls, and from now till kingdom come, the only thing you can count on in your existence is never understanding why.
- The Prophecy

(Thomas Daggett:) Did you ever notice how in the Bible, when ever God needed to punish someone, or make an example, or whenever God needed a killing, he sent an angel? Did you ever wonder what a creature like that must be like? A whole existence spent praising your God, but always with one wing dipped in blood. Would you ever really want to see an angel?
- The Prophecy

BTW, I've never seen Supernatural but looked it up and it sounds interesting. I hear Netflix carries earlier episodes and will have to check it out. Not particularly religious, but fascinated with angels and demons.

@Graylight I kind of got into the show by pure accident. I started off being very skeptical but ended up being a really good show.

@Graylight I know it's a little late but wanted to add about angels to your quote from Thomas Daggett. In a way that reminded me of the knights back in medieval ages. You know how their presented as saviors of the human race, always heading first into battle and rescuing fair maidens.

The reality is knights were nothing more than mercenaries. When the church couldn't control them anymore they sent them to other countries just to get rid of them. In reality they also murdered a lot of the villagers and robbed people.

That sort of reminded me of the quote. Knights were sent into battle and romanticized but it's far from the truth.

@SatanBurger Fascinating. That certainly wasn't in any history class I took. Reality is so often more violent and ugly than we'd like to believe. And I wonder if some of the angel myth doesn't come from times just like that.
@Graylight that is why i always say that Yahweh and Lucifero were actual people. that they fought for the leader position and Yahweh won. so of course, when Lucifero died, he was burned as they do in olden days and the stories came from that.
