You don't have to do anything special in order for God to love and accept you. [Spirituality & Religion]
He wants to give you so much more, and a life of happiness, peace, and joy. He never beats us up when we do wrong. He is a God of perfect love.
God wants to bless you, right now. He loves and accepts you just as you are right now...unconditionally.
There's nothing you have to do, or stop doing, in order for you to have God in your life right now. You don't have to "get ready" before you ask Jesus to come into your life. That's what I love about him. He is just a prayer away, and he accepts us just as we are, the moment we pray to him. We don't have to "clean up our act", or "do better", to please him. He [i]already[/i] loves you just as you are. He said, "[i]Today[/i] is the day of salvation." He doesn't want us to put that off, and he will never turn you away.
The Holy Spirit is the one that calls your heart to Jesus, and that is what He may be doing right now. You'll know if he is putting that desire in your heart to come to Jesus.
Jesus is always waiting for you. He is available to listen to you 24 hours, every day! You can't beat that!
All it takes, is for you to invite him into your heart and life, asking him to forgive you of your sins, then thank him for doing so, and start living for him . He promises to receive you by faith as a new member of His family, in Christ.
