I get it that this is a hobby of yours, but does it every work? I mean, a true evolutionary adaptation has been observed and recorded at Michigan State, but it's still "controversial".

@Celine Anyway, in case you hadn't seen it. A researcher at Michigan state was tracing e coli trains through multiple generations, when one of them suddenly started eating citrate in addition to glucose. The medium they were growing in was intentionally glucose deprived, but had lots of citrate. The strain that developed the ability to eat citrate reproduces in much larger numbers every cycle as a result, naturally.

The fellow was super meticulous in his controls and record keeping, so a lot of information about it is available. Not that'll mean much to creationists, but in case you're curious.

It could be a mixture. Animals do evolve. It's a fact. But maybe God created the first life and then nature took over.

Can't we end this with a hug?
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@rayoflight What are we ending?
I'm waiting for you to demonstrate how your statistics lecturer would have 'had a field day' with me.
To repeat... you suggested a possibility, and I examined that possibility in terms of its probability. We see that it's improbable, so can put it aside unless and until it becomes more probable than other possibilities.
You still haven't detailed your objections to that, nor have you explained what it is that I am supposed to have inferred.

No?

Man you gotta one-track mind. There is no logic to belief. You can't use logic against insane people. They do not have to rely on rationality.
Saw the comment: if you find a gap in their belief, they just fill it with more faith.
Have you ever succeded in making any religious people really question anything?

i actually think there is biblical evidence that could mean evolution. there is a verse in Genesis about each species changed as it's own kind. you don't see cats with t=rex's but you d see saber tooth tigers who are an ancient relation to modern day cats. aso we tend to out day into our day. it could have been a much longer time.
see no squirming sorry to disappoint you

What's your deal?

creationists do not use data, or evidecne or the rules of logic. they just make it up out of bits of ignorance, glued together with illogical ideas

i don't know. But i'm pretty sure that's when having Faith in whatever religion one believes in. Is the exact reason all that does not matter.
