In that case, why do we see the fossil record showing exclusively less complex to more complex organisms?
Why do we never see a sea turtle in the same fossil layer as trilobite?
Why do we never see a cat in the same fossil layer as a t-rex?

What is the creation-based explanation for this data?

I get it that this is a hobby of yours, but does it every work? I mean, a true evolutionary adaptation has been observed and recorded at Michigan State, but it's still "controversial".

@Celine Anyway, in case you hadn't seen it. A researcher at Michigan state was tracing e coli trains through multiple generations, when one of them suddenly started eating citrate in addition to glucose. The medium they were growing in was intentionally glucose deprived, but had lots of citrate. The strain that developed the ability to eat citrate reproduces in much larger numbers every cycle as a result, naturally.

The fellow was super meticulous in his controls and record keeping, so a lot of information about it is available. Not that'll mean much to creationists, but in case you're curious.

It could be a mixture. Animals do evolve. It's a fact. But maybe God created the first life and then nature took over.
