When you come to the end of your rope, that’s all the better. [Spirituality & Religion]

That’s when you stop struggling, and allow God to take over, where he can finally do something for you. He can’t do anything for you, if you hold Him back with unbelief, or hold on to what is hurting you, or the past, instead of trusting Him. He knows your past, present, and future. He also knows what is best for you, and if you’ll just trust him, he’ll get you to the place you need to be, for your own good. He will get you from point A to point B, and very sufficiently. He does not need your help. ☺️ He can’t do that, if you insist on holding on. What you’ve been holding onto, for whatever reason, has obviously not worked. So it is wiser to turn things over to the one person who knows better than you, what is best for you, and is much wiser than you. He knows you better than you know yourself. He is here for your good, not for harm.

If you want to get to the other side where things are better, you must not avoid the storm, but go right through it, with God holding your hand. He will not let you down. I know. He has never let me down, and I’m no better than you. He does not favor certain people. Sometimes we get ourselves in a mess, and then blame God. That’s not the way it is. God gets blamed for a lot of things he’s never even done.

It is very hurtful sometimes to go through this storm, instead of around it, but then we don’t learn that way. We must learn the lesson, before we can go on to the next step. Life is a journey in lessons, and learning those lessons. It is not healthy to stay in one spot...Stuck! You’ll soon learn, that while it is scary to move on, that is the only, and best way. You will be so glad you allowed God to help you.

Where people get tripped up, is that they expect a certain answer. Remember, God knows what is best for you. Better than you know, yourself. Just because you did not receive the answer you thought you would, does not mean that God is mad at you, punishing you, or has not answered you. It means he is working for your best, on your behalf. That the answer he gave was in your best interest. God can see down the line, you can’t. So just trust that he saved you a lot of heartache. Also have patience. This is about God‘s timing, not yours. He answers when the time is exactly right for you. If you do not want to learn the lesson, you’ll stay in the same spot. If you try to move forward without his direction, you shall fail. You may go three steps forward, but by doing it on your own, you end up taking three steps back until you learn the lesson. So better to go ahead and trust God. You will be so glad you did. God can’t hand you something new and better, until you’re willing to let go of the things that are bad for you.

A nice post, LadyGrace. I have to say, you always post supportive, graceful thoughts and never with force or slant.

You're right; once we stop trying to jam the often broken pieces of our lives back together, that's when the universe calmly steps in and effortlessly does what we couldn't manage. This is also one of the main tenets of addiction recovery.

Nobody ever promised us anything in this life, but why not accept help when it's offered? And it's always offered. Have a good night.
@Graylight Oh, thank you so much. 🤗 You’re so right. If help is offered, by all means, accept it. You’re a very sweet person. Thank you for the offer. Same goes for you. I definitely will have a good night, and wish you the same, dear.
