I Am American

I get sick and tired of people criticising our country, especially those who live here. There might be things wrong with it ut you only have to look at what is going on in other countries to be grateful we live here. Perhaps some of the moaners would like to go and live elsewhere - if anyone would have them!

They don't know how good they have it, and I say this as someone who was dirt poor growing up. The worst here is the best in other places. Ciriticm is fine, but it is annyoing as hell to listen to entitled people show how ungrateful they are.

Yeah...you're right :)
Thank you Candice! I'm tired of hearing people complain. The USA is not perfect but better than most places. There is no law that says you have to stay. You can move. After seeing it in other places people would probably want to come back.

Let some of these people go to the Middle East & see how many rights they have. They have a problem though, their welfare check would not be forwarded

You can't improve without criticism. It's true of both a person and a nation (a collection of persons). This is why free speech is inscribed in the constitution. Allowing free and open debates means tolerating criticism of the country and its government. The U.S. wasn't beyond reproach when it was created and it still hasn't lived up to its classical liberal ideals, which is why critics are necessary to point out when it comes off its tracks.

I don't mnd peopke criticising but it's when jerks try to make out it's the worst country in the world - and then say they still want to live here@animusinvictus:
