I Am American

[big]17 Dead in a High School[/big]

There are days when we worry about the culture of our nation. Our absurd gun culture has resulted in another school shooting, 17 dead. Thanks to the absurdly wrong interpretation of our Constitution Americans have been convinced that it is their right to own guns and we are the ONLY nation in the world that has this insane attitude toward guns and a destructive culture. Almost one mass shooting per day. According to Gun Violence Archive, a nonprofit organization that tracks gun-related death and injury, reports said there were 345 mass shootings in the U.S. in 2017. So far this year – and we’re only in February – there are estimated to be at least 17 shootings in schools.
How u define wit mass shooting messed wit those numbers, and ur clearly overlooking the middle east and Africa. That's kinda racist.

But wit dat been said, there is a problem here. But countries like Switzerland show u can have a popilation with firearms and not b violent. The problem here isn't soully guns.
How else r they supposed to compensate for their tiny lil thing

@terribleperson you are right it's just humans being themselves. Especially in the USA. Satan's pride and joy.
Smells like passive aggressive

Make drugs illegal and no one will die from drug abuse.

I'm tired of hearing the Prez and others say, "Our thoughts and prayers are with you." Really? Then at least start discussing possible solutions, don't just pray, do something.
The next question is where did the weapons used come from? Where they legally owned or stolen?

I am sure you've heard the reason than when it is no longer legal to own weapons, the only ones with weapons will be criminails and a police state.
@VeronicaJane that argument would apply in any country, including the dozens of developed ones which have just a tiny fraction of the gun deaths per head of population that the U.S. has.
Amen to that but good luck with ever getting enough Americans to understand the link between the easy availability of guns and the relentless waste of innocent American lives.

@TopOfTheWorld actually polls show that an overwhelming majority of americans are for gun control. it's just the loud minority has money to bribe the politicians
@SW-User That is true. The majority want change.

We aren't going to give up our Rights or our guns ever.
@TheProphet Until we get some common sense and change our laws.

@Humanist321 Not going to happen.
@TheProphet are the lives of the 1,000s of innocents killed every year a sacrifice worth making to keep your rights?

Once again. Human beings are Evil. And love killing. Just like their father Satan. He was a mudered from the beginning. And so is his children. I'm glad I'm not a human.
