Amen. I am not relying on Go Fund Me but I did have to make payment arrangements on a bill that I could buy a pretty nice sized home if I had that money going elsewhere. And that was even after my health insurance paid their portion. It works fine for broken ankles or other emergency type things but get truly sick, let alone get cancer or a chronic illness and you find out pretty quick that insurance will only cover certain levels of treatment. Or have a heart attack or stroke once and take a ride in a medical helicopter. I'm not complaining because myself and my loved ones are still alive due to the technology, but it takes awhile to come out of it.

Just pay for your own health insurance.
