I Experience Lucid Dreams

It’s ok. I stood on top of a high building last night and jumped towards a lake knowing I wouldn’t feel anything. I did a lot of scary jumping from high places. I punched Random people in my way. I forced an attractive person to act as my spouse. It’s just lame knowing it’s all fake. I still don’t get the attraction.

What would be cool is to call an ancestor into a dream and have a conversation that felt authentic or a conversation with a lost love who I can’t talk to in the waking world. To be aware of the dream, but to just have one aspect of it feel real. Otherwise , blah

Fuck, I wish I could. :/ I practice reality checks, but I never remember any.

One time I took an entire year with only the goal of lucid dreaming in mind. I got like 36, but never enough. And I noticed I had to sleep in 4 hour intervals to remember my dreams the best. Now. Nothing. It's like I'm dead when I sleep, most of the time.

Dude. It's not fake. Who is to say it's fake? It is simply another world, a world within your mind. Perhaps the dream is the reality, and this is all fake.

All the lucid dreams I've ever had felt astoundingly real. Have you attempted to solidify your dream before you start gallivanting about?

@Dionysus As I've heard it told, yes. ^_^ Lucid dreams are powerful tools for learning about yourself, since it breaks down the walls between your conscious and sub/unconscious minds. Definitely worth a shot, yeah? :D

Also remember that belief is the most powerful thing in a dream. If you believe they won't talk, they won't talk. If you believe they will talk, they will.

@Tatsumi ok, now that sounds amazing. I have some serious questions for my subconscious . I’m glad I wrote this story tonight. I’m very blocked and I don’t know why. Thank you for this 💕

@Dionysus Oh yes, it can be profoundly therapeutic. You're welcome. 😁 Happy dreaming!

I rarely dream but about 2 years ago, I awoke to see my late husband standing in the door of our bedroom, he walked slowly over to me, and bent over and kissed me oh so slowly, and lengthy, when he was gone the sweetness of his presence and his kiss lingured for several minutes. It def brought him back to my conscienceness.

There are binaural videos on youtube that you listen to while sleeping that helps you control lucid dreaming a lot better.

@Dionysus You're so very welcome, but I have heard reports from others that the dreams feel totally real.
