I think the place, itself, is fine.
People take advantage of their anonymity and let their odd, weird, negativity, judgemental and pervy flags fly.
I think it's something inherent in social media.

But, there are also so many nice people here.

If your new it will seem weird. Just reply to people who are on your wavelenghth or at least seem sensible. Some people love to troll some are fun some are vile. Its all about choice mix & chat with who you like ignore those you dont.

This site has different people for sure... though if you think this is odd, then you've seen nothing...

It used to be a wild wild west, where anything goes... it's became a lot tamer, at least from what I've seen.

And by "weird" you mean what? Most of the time I take that as a compliment. I like to think I defy the norms of society and that I'm a unique and edgy person. Also I'm not special.

It's the most weird when you are new and bombarded by sex freaks.
After that it settles down and becomes a bit bland at times but comfortable.

No. This place attracts a lot of outcasts and some weird people. Bad kind of weird. But there are great people still.
