Do Trump's personal financial relationships now dictate US foreign policy ?

whoowho · 41-45, F
I don't understand how it would NOT dictate US foreign policy.

Every new deal (🙄) creates new conflicts of interest as they bring the Trump Organization into contact with more investors, partners, and governments that may seek to influence the president’s decisions. The nature of the real-estate business means that the company and its international partners will have all sorts of interactions with local and national governments, ranging from acquiring permits for construction to health and safety inspections once a project is complete. That creates opportunities to attempt to curry favor with Trump, whether intentionally or not, by creating favorable conditions in which he can do business.

Trump's loyalties are NOT to the American people - it never was. He continues to us "America" for monetary gains.

I really don't know if it dictates US policy but I suspect he will do anything to protect and increase his personal wealth

If it were Hillary that was president I would say absolutely! She would sell her grandmother's remains for a nickel. However I see no evidence that Trump is acting in any way but by what he thinks is best for the US.

So you project on to others your own short comings. next.

@hippyjoe1955:

Yeah, that's it.

I'm the one in denial. Yup.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@whoowho: So if Trump is such a bad guy why does his party keep winning elections? IOW yes you are in denial.

They dictate common sense and a middle class which now has a chance to survive. Obama's foreign policy was based on globalism, the police state and climate change fairytales.

The greatest thing Trump has done to date was get rid of the enslaving EPA regulations imposed by the wannabe dictator and globalist tyrant known as Hussein Obama.

Enjoy your global enslavement police state in Europe and soon to be a Muslim theocracy within the next ten years. We don't want your nonsense here. Screw globalism and the surveillance state which is married to it. Viva Trump .......Seek psychiatric treatment for your Trump derangement syndrome.

@therighttothink50: The number of nonsense phrases you used repeatedly in your barely coherent little diatribe suggests to me you might already be under psychiatric treatment.

I think it was an enormous driver for him running and will continue to be in play via proxy.

I don't think so. If it did, it wouldn't have any more affect than the Clinton Foundation did on foreign policy. What do you think?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@pezzza: The clinton foundation is not a charitable foundation. It is a way for the clintons to launder ill gotten gains.
nudistsueaz · 61-69, F
@pezzza: Your right, just not in this case.
nudistsueaz · 61-69, F
@hippyjoe1955: Your 100% correct
Absolutely they do. A poster pretending to be Donald Trump was saying the reason for cutting the ties Obama had established with Cuba was because he (Trump) was beholden to the Cuban expatriates in this country for votes and funding. I said it was unfortunate that he was letting a small voting bloc dictate foreign policy. But I believe the poster, in his satire, was spot on.
