Do you find Trump's loutish behaviour embarrassing or something to be admired ?

SW-User
I find it an absolute disgrace.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
An American friend of mine said she was embarrassed for America and that was during the Republican primary.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@MasterLee: Saying the polls are no longer trustworthy is an opinion. You are entitled to it, but it is not fact. These are not my polls. Do you not trust the Fox News Poll? And as I stated before, the election results were well within the national polling margin of error. The national polls accurately predicted the election vote. Where there were some erroneous polls were at the local/state levels. If you knew anything about polling, you'd know that these polls are notoriously less accurate than the national polls. You've presented no evidence that the national polls are not trustworthy, and in fact, the available information indicates just the opposite.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@windinhishair: why do you assume I trust any poll including the fox poll?
windinhishair · 61-69, M
I didn't make that assumption, only that if you trusted any poll, it would be Fox News or Rasmussen. However, if you distrust them all, you have little to base your opinions on.

I think you have to take a look at all of the available information. Each poll has slightly different methods, contacts different people in different ways, and is intended to reflect the reality of the poll question(s) in the population at large. There will always be some variability in individual polls, or from one poll to another. But let me ask you this? What do you think is the likelihood that many polls done over a period of time will all show the same thing, even given the inherent variability of polling, and all be wrong? I just went back and looked at the polls since mid-April. The last poll that showed Trump support at 50% or more was a Morning Consult poll conducted April 20-24. Since then, 53 consecutive polls by many different organizations have all shown Trump support below 50%. What do you think the chances are that all 53 polls are wrong? That's what you're asserting, with nothing to back it up. I find it highly unlikely that all of these polls would come to the same conclusion and all be wrong.

using the words trump and admire in the same sentence is madness
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
Embarrassing at the very least -- but more scary because I don't think he's mentally competent. I keep hearing that his family tries to take his Twitter account away to shut him up, and actually did take his cell phone away to stop him giving out the number. The man is a buffoon, born rich, stumbled into being richer while screwing so many investors, and now is playing Tsar in his warped mind of what the American government is
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@ChipmunkErnie: Andrew Sullivan put it most succinctly in a piece for New York Magazine , where he described him as a confection of 'malevolence , corruption and incompetence'. I think that sums him up perfectly.

windinhishair · 61-69, M
@ChipmunkErnie: The man appears in the dictionary as the definition of "Ugly American" for his behavior.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@pezzza: "Lock him up ! Lock him up !" 😠
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@pezzza: we need obama in jail long before

Most people, especially in the public eye, will practice a speech before giving it, this buffoon reads it, haltingly, off the page, looking up now and then, frowns when no-one applauds, and then continues his monotonous ramble.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@donontario: Stop watching the liberal speeches.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
TBF a lot of us Brits should be embarrassed by Brexit if we think about the reasons why it happened. UK politics is nothing to write home about.
firefall · 61-69, M
@Burnley123: That might be the best use I've seen of that meme. Just hilarious. At least if you dont live in the UK.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@firefall: You have to laugh. It is pretty perfectly done.
firefall · 61-69, M
@Burnley123: I think I have to quote a respected UK civil servant on the subject:
"We're all fucked. I'm fucked. You're fucked. The whole department's fucked. It's been the biggest cock-up ever and we're all completely fucked."
firefall · 61-69, M
The Last Marx Brother lives :p
@pezzza: They have no idea -- anything that isn't right wing talk radio is "the left."
@firefall: The Marx Brothers were actually pretty clever. 😆
firefall · 61-69, M
@bijouxbroussard: I know, although noone seemed to get Karl's humour. But Trumps buffoonish shtick would slot into their stage act fairly well
He's trying to keep his promises...clean up this mess we have on our hands...don't think people are really aware of the terrible problems we have...caused by both parties
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@eli1601: And what is Aleppo ?

👍 @Ynotisay: & @windinhishair: Their ignorance is profound.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Only295views: Obama had a functional government. Trump does not. Very few appointed positions have been filled, and that's not because they are being held up. Trump just hasn't appointed them. Several agencies are run by people who want to destroy the very agency they run (e.g., Pruitt at EPA, Perry at Energy). At State, the firings and departures were so deep that it is also barely functional. You've also got an AG at the Department of Justice that has repeatedly been caught lying about his Russian meetings and has had to recuse himself. Trump has fired the FBI Director to try to stop the Russian investigation, which he then stupidly admitted on Twitter.

No Administration has been this dysfunctional, particularly at this stage of their term in office. It dwarfs the items you've mentioned.

And do you believe money can't buy Trump out? To the contrary, he's using the presidency as a business opportunity to enrich himself and his family. The Russians consider him an asset.
@Only295views: you forgot to say suck it

Everything about him is embarrassing
I hope more Americans become like him and my daughter marries a man like him.
@pezzza: Not at all. I hope my son grows up to divorce three times, refuses to pay vendors who work for him, feels entitled to grab pussies, and mocks the disabled. I hope my daughter marries such a man, too. Perhaps they can marry each other.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@Brando: clinton eh?
@MasterLee: 1/4, Bro.
Ynotisay · M
Outside of his "policies" I see him as I see most bullies.
A guy I'd like to get in to a dark alley.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@Ynotisay: I think De Niro had it about right when he said he would like to punch him in the face.
Ynotisay · M
@pezzza: I'd fork over big money to watch that on pay-for-view.
AnarchoMetalchic · 36-40
I find government as a whole embarrassing.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
I do not find it 'loutish'. Obama more closely resembles that. I do find Trump a bit flamboyant and thin skinned at times but he appears more human and competent than obama/hillary.
@MasterLee: yes, much more competent at being President. I've heard that.
@MasterLee: Red Herring. Misleading statements made to avoid the truth. It doesn't matter what Obama or Clinton would have done, said, or thought.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@softspokenman: good so we agree it was an incorrect term applied to trump.
Oh God. No. Just no.

@Only295views: Interesting. Well good for him I guess😕 I've never been outside of the United States sadly. And Anuk is Eskimo for polar bear in means the number 11. And binary is of the Universal DNA the binary code 1's and 0's
I don't think I could pass as an Indian😂 maybe an albino one[
@Only295views: I cant for the life of me understand why you call this German/Irish man an Indian. You need to get your facts straight before you start trying to judge a nationality. BTW what gives you that right anyway🤔
He once sold the Empire State Building to foreign investors for $57.5 million. It was legal.
@softspokenman: An embarrassment ? Something to be admired ? I think he is an Obscenity. Def: The state or quality of being obscene, obscene behavior, language, or images.
eli1601 · 70-79, M
What loutish behavior?
eli1601 · 70-79, M
@pezzza: I did. There was no loutish behavior. Just responses from European left wing idiots who don't like the truth.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@eli1601: You didn't even know what I was talking about so don't pretend you do now.
eli1601 · 70-79, M
@pezzza: Don't lie, hypocrite
Embarrassing beyond words. And the people who still support him should be ashamed of themselves.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@bijouxbroussard: LOL.
Fernie · F
@bijouxbroussard: 😆
@bijouxbroussard: Oh shame on all you kids, shame shame!
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@Burnley123: Yes we use memes because liberals need pictures to understand and it is the basis for their primitive communication skills.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@MasterLee: I've seen you lot use memes to communicate with each other lol. When you meet irl do you use cave drawings. Lol😂
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@Burnley123: Just to liberals like yourself.
just his persona

I'm a bit ashamed I have to admit he's right about that 2% Nato contribution. If some countries don't want to, it's ok, but leave the Nato than, ore make new deals.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@kingkyrie: The countries have until 2024 to make up their commitment which makes his whole argument a nonsense.
SW-User
@pezzza: In that case you're right, didn't know that, as he obviously also didn't, but I'm not a potus, that's the difference. 😂
SW-User
I admire his ballsiness
@eli1601: I don't recall that, but I'm not a leftist.
eli1601 · 70-79, M
@Brando: Just not very bright then
@eli1601: lol, I remember Bush saying it!

I'm not sure what to make of him shoving the president of Belgium out of the way for a photo opportunity.
He has a lot to be desired in his social graces.
TJNewton · M
I think he"s hilarious tbh but very stupid too
@Fernie: Awww because you disagree, I'm an ass. Okay, too bad the entire world doesn't go as you want. :)
Fernie · F
@neverendingpain: have you noticed you aren't getting much support for your childish nonsense dear?
@Fernie: my questions have a lot of heart(s) bozo
