Anybody watch the UK leaders debate on ITV?

Anyone perform well on it? I had to record it tonight because of the football.

Its a shame they don't have rule compelling all parties to join. The debates as they stand are pointless.

Its not just that fewer people vote for the smaller parties (though that is a factor) its that none of them are really direct rivals with each other. Nobody switches from UKIP to vote for the Greens. It takes out the competition.

@Burnley123: Disappointed Jez didn't go. I understand that with May gone he would be a big target and the others would just swipe at him but hard for him to call her feart now.

@thatscottishguy: It is a shame but I understand his decision. Miliband did it last time in the same circumstances and he ended up looking bad because all the other parties concentrated on scoring points off him as the one big fish. I think we agree on that. UKIP the Greens and the SNP all think they can take votes off Labour but not each other.
