FDR expressly set up Social Security to be funded by the Payroll tax SPECIFICALLY and by NO OTHER FUNDING MECHANISM DELIBERATELY and EXPRESSLY. ALL ARE RULED OUT and I categorically oppose any other funding mechanism at all! in order to make it so politicians couldn't get their grimy hands on it. Because it would be one of the few things that We were all in together. Millionaires would have every bit as much incentive to defend it as everyone else! Now Republicans want to change that and the real reason they do is to make Social security more vulnerable to Politicians!
