What exactly is an SJW and why is it meant to be a bad thing?

@ladycae: I dunno, it actually sounds like an empowering name to me. Who wouldnt want to be warriors. And not only that, but of justice. I think many just find that the people commonly referred to as SJWs to be disagreeable and therefore the term 'SJW' becomes associated with negative feelings from then on. That's why I feel like if used in a negative tone, its just a name said with distaste for the people rather than using the term to describe their distaste in those people; if that makes sense.

Oh i get that. So people who fight for social justice but in petty, irrelevant ways.
I disagree that feminism is idiotic. It certainly gets out of hand but the movement itself is important.

The original feminist movement was important, absolutely, but they accomplished almost everything they set out to accomplish. Women now have the right to vote, start and own businesses, get an education, run companies, be in government, and be leaders. Women in the United States today can do whatever they set their minds to just as well as men. Today's feminism is nothing but a victim mentality with man hating at it's core.
