How do those of you outside of the US see Americans now since Trump's been elected?

Poll - Total Votes: 17
I have a more positive view of Americans.
I have a more negative view of Americans.
I'm still neutral/no changes.

You can only vote on one answer.
Has this election and its results influenced the way you now see us as opposed to how you viewed us before? Or have there been no changes at all? What comes to mind when you think of us now?
I don't really think it changes my view of ordinary Americans. But I think it is indicative of a society on the brink of collapse when you look at it along with other indicators. To me is more like Yeltsin the drunkard getting "elected" in Russia.

Most Americans, myself included, couldn't care less what the rest of the world thinks of us.

@LvChris: I don't disagree. If the current guard does not manage to start a nuclear war it might not matter.

Interesting. The American propaganda machine is truly impressive.
Here are a few reasons why america is NOT the greatest country in the world:

1) Absurd levels of poverty for a first world nation
2) Poor levels of education among the general population
3) Expensive healthcare that can bankrupt the average citizen
4) Rampant obesity
5) Huge hard drug imports, one of the biggest in fact
6) Incredible racial tension to the point where a race war seems imminent
7) Massive rates of incarceration. You have less than 5% of the world's population but you have 25% of the world's incarcerated population

I mean, the US is a developed nation for crying out loud.

So tell me again how the US is the greatest country in the world.
And see if you can do it without saying "lookit tha size o muh missiles! yeeehaw!"

I see a country divided. An otherwise reasonable political stance in power, but the head of state isn't professional, or trustworthy. And the only other option is hardcore ANTIFA or socialist liberals. I think America could benefit hugely from a more centered government, with a leader who takes the position seriously, values healthcare and STEM fields, and does not use Twitter publicly :P

I've met plenty of Americans on here and irl. I like them. A nuts leader is no reason to change that opinion. People are people.
America elected a Reality TV star. We are all now characters on a very bad tv show that should be canceled very soon..

Although I think Trump will go down in history as a monster, I don't blame people who voted for him. His victory was the left's failure.

I'm sorry to say I had to choose the more negative option. I simply don't understand how he could be elected

@SadieBlack87 Some have, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were from Americans who did vote for Trump instead of outsiders. We've got a lot of Trump supporters on this site.
