Maybe since the government lies about pot, calling it worse than alcohol which everyone who is familiar w both substances knows is false, makes it hard for kids to trust them when they talk about the dangers of harder drugs. That's what happened w me. Plus most ppl i know who became hard drug users were prescribed drugs as kids, like adderall n ritalin n made them more susceptible to meth when they grew up
