Have the UK Conservatives brought stability?

People who voted for the 'safe option' have got a chaotic hard-Brexit and the probable break up of the UK. We are turning into a poorer, smaller and more divided country all because our political elite tried to blame problems on the wrong target.

There may be trouble, but if they can put a stop to the Muslim infection, they've saved England for a while.;

Ha! If they are based on facts then I will read them.
@Pedromartinez: Clarion call. It's either heeded or disregarded. Enough said. Also, I've never called for genocide. Only separation and isolation from civilized belief systems.
@Burnley123: You know where they are. You also, have more weight in this conversation. I am in the US, and you are in England. I just hope this country doesn't go the way of western Europe with the infestation.

You know better since you get first-hand information every day. From the outside it looks like it is still early to talk about the consequences of Brexit. The procedure has not started yet.

A good Brexit deal is impossible because there is no way they will give us a better deal as a reward for leaving.

@Burnley123: The EU is not in a strong position now, and UK has a powerful friend on the other side of the ocean.
The Tories always tear the UK apart and with no credible opposition will continue to do so.I admit to not liking the Tories so I may be a little biased!

I am a Labour member and a Corbyn supporter actually. I get why people think like you though because the Labour civil war is not a good look. The media don't give them much opportunity to put their message across.

Brexiters are now responsible for the breakup of the Union as well as the loss of our European identity. Meanwhile the Tories are laughing as they carry on ruining the country.

Hi Alan. A-ha! 😜

The chaotic state of politics here and elsewhere is a legacy of the 2007/08 financial crash. People are disillusioned and facing declining living standards. They are looking for someone to blame.

For solutions we need to look at how our economy is structured. Its a problem created by de-regulation of the financial sector and policies that allow for too much inequality. The target should banker, tax avoiders and our political establishment themselves. Not Scots, immigrants or Brussels.

@AlanPartridge: Not overnight of course, but it would remove systemic risk. Nationalising banking is a radical option that I would support. If its not politically tenable then at least increase regulation and force the banks to separate their savings and investment functions. That would reduce the systemic risk.
