Why does nobody (Republicans included) believe Trump's wiretapping claims ?

bookerdana · M
Because it's ridiculous? Because his next tweet was about Arnold? Because the FBI ,CIA,NIA are all denying it?
bookerdana · M
(sigh) Tell me about it,President Minority squeaked through with da white trash and the neo-Nazis
@bookerdana: The world is watching in horror.
bookerdana · M
So are many,many Americans. We the "uneasy" people fear we've gone past Empire into our first Emperor.
I find the most telling comments on The Young Turks channel on youtube.
And why should they? The guy lies to the public ALL the time, about just about everything. Even if, as some people say, there's another side to him in private, the stuff that he tweets is the stuff that you'd make fun of, like say at a foreign correspondent's dinner. Oh.. wait....
@Jackjjacksonjr: she's obnoxious and a stooge for jumping on the crap Trump leaked and not calling him out for doing it.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
@Misty71:

She was quite smug and proud of herself on Fallon last night. Is she that desperate?
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
@Misty71:

Surely she read the two pages prior to air time right?
doctorlove · M
The boy cried wolf till no one could believe a word he said.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
It will be interesting to see the reaction when he tells us of some imminent and deadly threat that must be dealt with militarily.
doctorlove · M
If interesting = terrifying, then yes. Yes it will.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@doctorlove: That's precisely what I meant.
Thodsis · 51-55, M
Because he's a bullshitter.
A dare say his credibility has eroded to the point of nonexistence.

May I also add, I do not believe GOP members will risk their reputation - especially when they are being met with opposition by constituents in their state. As long as people protest, their representatives will be kept accountable. This is what gives me a glimmer of hope.
Loretta78 · 46-50, F
@plainspoken: 😝 (pukes)
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@plainspoken: I couldn't agree more. Some of the programmes which will be slashed are ones that will directly impact those people most disadvantaged who incredulously thought as President he would look after their interests. They were fools to believe his lies.

A conniving rat bastard is precisely what he is. I commend your use of language. ;)
Loretta78 · 46-50, F
@pezzza: 😝😝 (double puke)
Xuan12 · 31-35, M
Well, he has the power to pull the evidence himself. The fact that he didn't just do it in the first place produced a lot of skepticism.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
The fact he didn't proves he's lying.
Lizabee · F
Spicy believes!!!
SW-User
@pezzza: does he actually believe a word that he says ?
Lizabee · F
@Nonsequitur: oh...just him (so he doesn't get his ass chewed out my Claudio Del Mar-tard-lego)
Lizabee · F
@doctorlove: so many prongs!!!

if someone in the Trump organization and could simply explain why the server in question was reconfigured to receive information ..rather than put marketing information out ( marketing )...
then explain the server traffic between alpha bank and the other bank in Russia and this particular server I think it would be fine ...

but they don't want to answer that question
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
There's plenty of other questions they don't want to answer either.
I understand that Richard DeVoss was one of those involved with the Alpha bank, what a nice coincidence that Betsy was appointed Sec. of Education. "Cronyism anyone?"
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@Coyotedave611: Welcome to the new kleptocracy.
LMAO 😂 because we can all agree that's completely retarded
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
@pezzza:

Yep. Kind of like your guarantee that Mrs Clinton would win lol.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@Jackjjacksonjr: I never guaranteed anything ..... but lol at you , once again , if all else fails invoke the name of HRC. 😁
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
@pezzza:

I detest that woman with excellent reason.
Loretta78 · 46-50, F
... without words... 😒
🤥

Coz he's looking to deflect from the real issues at hand ....it's just getting annoying and predictable at this point
I think his constant deflection of real issues is a ploy. Indifference and apathy of his constant lying has become endemic, when we the people stop getting angry, when we stop caring enough to fight back America loses. I just hope the younger generations will have the courage and determination to take back America from the traitors and despots.
SW-User
@Coyotedave611: absolutely!
Lack of evidence lerhaps. Innoce t until lroven guilty maybe. He is the lresident of the US. If he cannot lroduce hard evidence it probably does not exist and never really happened. He loves to distract everyone to keep the heat off of the things he wants to do and does not want anyone paying attention to. It smells lime a stinky red herring to me.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
And he thought he was being cute. He's getting precisely what he deserves.
SW-User
He has no evidence for said wiretapping?
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
That could just be it ...... thanks ! ;)

Correct.
Northwest · M
I think a lot of people believe him, otherwise, he would not be the President. People, sometime, choose to see their own version of the truth.
Loretta78 · 46-50, F
Choosing their own vision of the truth = alternative facts 🤓
Northwest · M
@AliceSalomon: Clearly. That's the scary part. Some of the stuff can be explained away (with great pain), but when it rained on Inauguration day, and the dignitaries were struggling with the rain and wind, blowing away their protective ponchos, and the President still says, in front of the CIA fallen wall, that God looked down on the Inauguration, and there was no rain, it's just too much.... The lies are so obvious, #AlternativeFacts, as you point out, is the only explanation.
Because people of both parties are so use to his habitual lying they have become indifferent. Such apathy is going to be the undoing of America and the blame is on the people.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
The blame is on those stupid enough to vote for him ..... a sizeable minority if anybody needs reminding.
Because Trump apparently is so used to being followed blindly, that he forgot some basic logic: the chronology is to find evidence, then make an accusation. Or you look like a moron. The Republicans are not quite that stupid.
Because everybody knows that orange clown is a complete moron.
bookerdana · M
It's really funny ,The Prez makes an unfounded accusation and the GOP says we should investigate;I really hope they do

I'm sure there's some truth to it but not the way it's being presented
Hdryder555 · 61-69, M
If you have to ask why, you would never understand the answer.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
I was being facetious.
tenente · 100+, M
isn't this just politics as usual? i'm sure their spying on each other 24/7
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
Presidents don't (and can't) order wiretaps.
