Wait, I meant Florida's bus-bench gvernor DeSantis just declared a moment of silence mandated in all state classrooms from K-12. Said he, "It's important to be able to provide each student the ability every day to reflect and be able to pray as they see fit. The idea that you can just push God out of every institution and be successful, I'm sorry our founding fathers did not believe that."
I hope he maintains that position when followers of Islam want to break to pray each day, when those who follow the Jewish faith want time to celebrate their high holy days, and for the winter solstice, when all wiccans, pagans and others will be out celebrating sacred rights of nature.
As for how the founding fathers felt about prayer in the schoolroom, they were silent. He's the only idiot speaking about it.
