Kayleigh McEnany said today that her faith in God prevented her from ever telling a lie as White House spokesperson.

In a speech to A Young Woman's Leadership Summit she said her Christian faith and belief in God prevented her from ever telling even one lie. Would most Christians agree she never lied?
Does the truth still exist? Can you explain the truth to a child? If we see the exact same event but I portray the event opposite of the way you portray the event am I lying.

I think "lie" means something different to most Christians.

@Pitchblue There you go. And the ironic thing? Trump clearly has no connection to religion or god. That's where it all gets a little twisted for me.
@Ynotisay Clearly. I'm not a religious person but in my understanding of the 10 commandments Trump is the Polar Opposite of a Religious Man.
Ynotisay · M
@Pitchblue Yep. And that's where it all gets very culty.

Does no one in the Republican party understand that when one prominent public figure comes out like this with a total complete and demonstrable LIE like this and even invoked their deity to back it up, that they discredit everything every Rebublican spokesperson says? This is the stuff that will be in memes or whatever the equivalent is for decades and will be used by Americas enemies of the day to show the nation as a bunch of untrustworthy Liars.

@whowasthatmaskedman She probably thinks that she is so holy that everything that she says is automatically the truth, regardless of how accurate it actually is...
I'm quite certain there's already a special place in hell waiting for her.
Pfuzylogic · M
That reminds me of trump holding the Holy Bible upside down. If Kayleigh is saved she has further confession to go through.
@Pfuzylogic I think most Republicans are blasphemous and don't believe in the Church at all, it's just a tool they use to persuade people to believe what they say. Like Trump and a bible. Where did he get the bible, why was it held upside down? Why doesn't he have a favorite passage?
Pfuzylogic · M
@Pitchblue
Saying most republicans are blasphemous I consider an over generalization. He had 74 million vote for him and while I voted for Biden, God does not recognize party lines.
@Pfuzylogic I was referring to the politicians not every Christian Republican but I wasn't specific. A guy like Ted Cruz making sure to get Photo Ops at a church. People like that.

Vile, meaningless human being.
That pretty much guarantees she lies. Only the most immoral people without a conscience have to outsource their morality to a book or God. They literally have to be told what is right and wrong because they don't naturally feel the difference.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
What's amazing is she is able to delude herself into thinking she's practicing anything that resembles being a Christian.
Northwest · M
She does Kellyanne Conway proud.
Human1000 · M
@Northwest Yeah, she must have sat at the knee of the master.

@HoraceGreenley She’s a Republican, so whatever she says is automatically true just from her saying it.
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
@LeopoldBloom Not necessarily.
