Does it even matter?

I know, Mother Jones. It's an outfit with a questionable reputation and an indisputable liberal bias.

But stay with me here, and let's assume that it's not fake news.

Is the fact that someone may have lied for Trump in a deposition or before Congress even newsworthy, anyone?

Sure, lying under oath bugs me, but I've heard countless times on SW that it's unfair to submit anyone to perjury traps because perjury is a mere process crime, and without an underlying provable individual underlying crime, no otherwise innocent indidual should be subjected to the threat of being prosecuted for lying under oath.

Am I wrong, or do the ends justify the means?

If the ruling class are not subject to the same laws as the working class you don't have a democracy, you have a banana republic.

People who knowingly lie under oath should be charged with perjury.

I am going to give a not so hypothetical.

I kill someone.
You provide me, under oath, with a false alibi.

Did you commit perjury, or are you an accessory to murder?
[@9416,Northwest] Probably both.
