Would the US military and security forces have taken a side if the Capitol insurrection was way more successful? Which side?

The coup? Or the old government?
Why were they neutral last time?

Well many of the people involved were either former or active duty military and the capitol police literally let them in so that says plenty.

they knew the "insurrectionists (🤣)" were just a bunch of idiots and they wanted to avoid a bloodbath so they decided to do nothing and wait for the idiots to have a craving for Mcdonald's and leave the premises.

You don’t remember the group of former defense secretaries and Chiefs of Staff warning active duty not to get hooked up in that stupidity. Our pledge/oath is to our country/constitution and not some power hungry idiot.

@Grateful4you so they can't pick the American People over fascists.
@Stopmakingsense When "ANTIFA" is painted as a bad thing we are headed to places that scare me quite honestly.

The military wasn’t Trumpist. The Brass hated him.
Stopmakingsense · 56-60, F
@Human1000 no way. They're to protect the current elected government against all enemies.

@Stopmakingsense Fuck that. Let Americans eat each other.

@Human1000 best reason to disarm, yet.
