If the Confederacy wasn't allowed to secede from the Union, why was the Union ok with native land seceding from their society to become a US state?

I don't get it. Why are Americans of today so angered with the Confederates for SECEDING? I mean, they had just as much right to do that as the US did to colonize native land and make their own states. Which was technically seceded from previous native land.

I mean, why do Americans think they get to colonize land that isn't theirs, making their own society with their own nation states, then once the Confederates do the same thing to them, their only response is "How dare you? Taking land is wrong!"

Bitch please.

We're not angry. A few southerners are because they lost and can't get over it.
