Is the Catholic Church afraid that Qanon can take over the church?

Is there a rising tide of misinformation and Christian nationalism gripping Evangelical congregations in the United States. Are the members of these Church's prone to conspiracies and creating enemies, making the Republican Party first before Christianity? Has the Church become a tax free voting block ripe for a take over by a group like Qanon?

There is a split in many and probably most Evangelical churches between ypthoae willing to make trump the foundation of their faith, and the sane people. The absolutism of Q fits perfectly for a lot.
And I agree churches can be as political as they want, just pay taxes.

But the Catholic Church is not part of this. We have our own problems.

@monte3 Theology aside, all organised Religions have people problems. People with an agenda of their own.
