Shouldn't the US be ashamed of its overworked population and lands?

Why does everyone brag about being so very hard working?

Why are you against it ? If you are lazy just deal with it . America has a good work ethic because we are able to better our socio economic standing through our own hard work and skill

@TexChik there's a lot of people working themselves to the grave who aren't fairly compensated for their efforts.

The idea that hard work is all it takes is a myth.
TexChik · F
@MethDozer maybe for you . It works great for me . Tempered with that is common sense . A degree in leadership studies gets you a entry level job at Walmart .
MethDozer · M
@TexChik Paying for a BS degree in order to get a decent wage is part of the problem.

I don't decide the merits of system based on just me. I rather see a system that promotes everyone doing well. Not just some.

@TexChik plus you know. If all that was entirely true corporations wouldn't be constently be pushing for legislation that allows them to outsource jobs and production offshore where they could pay pennies for a dollars worth of work.
TexChik · F
@MethDozer would you want a engineer, attorney , or doctor without one ? Universities today are a scam . The trades are a good option but then again without a work ethic one wouldn’t last long
MethDozer · M
@TexChik Oh I totally agree with you on this.

Yet trades and trade schools are union shit and you know, them unions are "socialism".
TexChik · F
@MethDozer thats mostly to get past the 941s. Corporations are just larger business entities . Without corrupt politicians you couldn’t blame corps for doing what they do to survive and profit .
TexChik · F
@MethDozer not all are . Regardless of that you only want to blindly blame . 🙄
MethDozer · M
@TexChik The corrupt politicians are owned, played, lobbied, and bought by the rich corporate businesses.

They set the tone. It isn't like they are some victims who desperately tried to hold onto their fairly paid, promoted, and benefitted American hires tooth and nail and were defeated by Washington into sending them offshore to survive. No, they wanted to keep more and more profits for themselves and pushed their lobbies to promote legislation to allow them to move jobs offshore so they didnt have to pay as much for labour or abide by even the most sensible of environmental standards.
