One Overlooked Possible Explanation As to Who Owns the U.F.O.s

On July 8, 1947, the Roswell Army Air Field issued a press release announcing the recovery of a "flying disc" from a ranch near Roswell, New Mexico.

A retraction soon followed but every since there has been wild speculation that a spacecraft of extra-terrestrial origin was recovered.

So, what about the recent frenzy of U.F.O. activity harassing U.S. naval vessels?

So far there have been basically three theories as to whom the U.F.O.'s belong to:

(1) China
(2) Russia
(3) an extra-terrestrial civilization

The problem with it being China is that one would have to believe the Chinese were able to somehow get these craft across the Pacific without being noticed and, if by submarine that would be highly unlikely as the U.S. Navy is pretty darn good at tracking subs.

If it is the Chinese, it wouldn't be the first time we would have had a catastrophic intelligence failure. But still. For the Chinese to have leap-frogged that far ahead of the U.S. technologically seems unrealistic.

The Russians? Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid thinks so. And we know Vladimir Putin has been investing heavily in high-tech military equipment. Russian subs are more quiet that Chinese subs. And perhaps the message is being sent: "Ukraine is ours when we want it."

E.T.? Well, given that one former military officer has said the technology exhibited by the U.F.O.s is 100 to 1,000 years ahead of us, that's a strong possibility.
'It's possible someone found us before we found them': Two retired Navy officers warn that infamous UFO Tic-Tac sighting indicates 'technology that outstrips our arsenal by at least 100 to 1,000 years'
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9590727/Ex-Navy-officer-says-UFO-technology-100-1-000-years-ahead-United-States.html

But there's a fourth explanation.

THEY'RE OURS.

And we got that high-tech from decades of studying a crashed U.F.O. in the New Mexico desert in 1947.

Just a thought...

1. How come UFO's only are detectable in the dark of night with grainy photos that could be almost anything?

2. If they are secret Russian or Chinese assets, why would they first test them only in the USA where they most likely would be detected?

3. If they are from another world, why are they only exploring Earth? Why aren't they investigating what is going on on Mars?

4. If they are American, why would the government allow the government to see and talk about it only raising the curiosity of people they seem not to want anyone to know about?

5. If the flying objects are so advanced, why are they so easily detectable by primitive 21st century tracking technology?

@MarkPaul

Speaking of "grainy footage" . . . 😉

@beckyromero That isn't that grainy.

Assuming these are in fact extra terrestrials. (OK. I know thats a big ask, but go with me) We are talking intersteller distances and times. So I propose that the little green men are NOT on board. These are robotic Probes much as we have sent to Mars recently. The info gathering kind with limited independent intelligence. That will allow acceleration and turns that no physical being can withstand and no need for life support, just drop a few probes and go. Depending on how good Einstenns Arithmetic was it may be decades before the information gets back to the little Green men. I wonder what they will make of us?

@whowasthatmaskedman I wonder what they will make of us?

They may have already received our television signals and that's what sparked their interest to investigate.

@beckyromero Well I think from that one assumption, that "they are out there" anything is possible. But I am willing to assume they dealt with their long distance exploration problem the same way we are. By sending the machines ahead.

Like Independence Day part II?

@beckyromero I didn’t hate it, but it wasn’t as good as the first one (obviously)

@JoeyFoxx I am literally angry at that movie it was so atrocious.
JoeyFoxx · 51-55, M
@Graylight I had low expectations and waited until it was on free cable.

I got what I paid for. :)

I would believe Russia over China. Since most of these sightings are over the Atlantic, that is a lot of land flying over Africa, India, the Middle East, and/or Europe. All of which have or had a strong military presence during those time periods.

Or it flies over the Pacific, continental US, and/or Canada which again would have a lot of our eyes in the sky.
BackyardShaman · 61-69, M
Likely the real deal, and they want something, likely above us on the food chain.
Graylight · 51-55, F
Horses, not zebras.

The simplest explanation is usually the correct one. I'd start with an understanding of the technology used to get the courage, as most photo/video evidence are usually artifacts. Then I'd start discounting missions and technologies used by the US itself.
