I think I do. Would inevitably lead to unequal rights.

Sweden has a state church and technically, so does the UK.

Israel’s government may be a sanctioned terrorist organization, but religion is just a convenient cover.

It's not in accordance with agreed upon human rights and state responsibilities.
Modern nations must guarantee freedom of and from religion and they can't be in the business of being churches.
