Why isn't there a big sign on our new construction project that says "Amazon Fullfillment Center Coming Soon!" Aren't they proud of themselves?

Why would it be like a secret that we're getting this thing that dwarfs the town? Are they hoping to surprise us?

Some people will not be happy they’re coming, and they [b]know[/b] it. As convenient as Amazon is to consumers, it’s often a death knell to small businesses.
