When asked about the most important Law, Jesus said nothing about 'left' or 'right', dictatorship or democracy, capitalism or socialism. I am seeking to understand (and thanks for sticking with it) how the USA or my own 'liberal democracy' handles the practicalities of flawed human government. I believe in a 'prophetic voice' from the Church but if we undermine the institutions that keep order without having a viable alternative, we open the door to anarchy. And we know who would like that.

I'll give him credit for signing a bill that continued and made permanent some STEM Program payments to HBCUs that had already been in existence.

Regardless of your politics, you've nailed it here. It is proven time and time again throughout history that this kind of division will destroy a nation, and even an empire. The USA is imitating ancient Rome as if they are reading a script. We have people sneaking in. We have subsidy out the ass for the people sneaking in. We have "bread and circuses" and far too many people have nothing to do. We have our military spread all over the globe, and we have violent intrigue within the halls of legislation. I predict this year there will be fist fights involving state representatives.
If we don't find a solution, we are doomed as a nation.
As far as the citizens are concerned, half of the country wants to rip the throats out of the other half with their teeth. Most of the church going folk say, "Pray and remember God is on His throne". but some of the fundamentalists are talking about a fight, or trying to convince military and law enforcement to join them. Funny thing is, down here in my neck of the deep south, we're all laughing about it. Black folks and white folks together sitting in lawn chairs saying cracking jokes about how crazy the world is. Deep down we all know we are whistling by the graveyard.

If both knew & consented, legal everywhere.

If one knew and the other did not, it becomes

• a PROBLEM, if the law in NEITHER jurisdiction allowed it;

• a QUESTION, if the law of the two jurisdictions CONFLICTS on this question.

(If it is the case that the GA SoS recorded it without Trump's knowledge, but this was legal in GA, it would be a "conflict of laws" case if it is illegal to do so in whatever controlling jurisdiction Trump was located.)

Science in K-12 suffers, as do math, etc., from beimg initially taught by very inexpert people. The US educational system is still affected by the 19th century in a bad way; generalists are ok for important courses even though they don't understand what kids should be learning to point them where they should be at the end of that bit of their journey.
