Or...It was a messy anti-immigration policy that was driven by far right wing conservatism, wasn't implemented with any thought and will likely have far reaching affects long after the fact.
Why is conspiracy needed to justify incompetence, that will only demean these children should they seek compensation later on down the line, and possibly make the matter worse as it's the conspiracy that becomes the plight and not the trauma suffered by its supposed victims...

@plungesponge Sad times when Megalomaniac Bond Villains and Global Cabals are the litmus test by which we judge the severity of some crisis.

I blame god, as the world becomes increasingly sectarian, something to hold accountable is needed to lay the blame on. Once it was religious fervour, now it's 'Them' and 'Their' lies...

Just don't ask who 'They' are. Like god there is never a straight answer...
