It really isn't changing anyone's mind. Trump needs to be impeached because he has committed high crimes and misdemeanors according to the Constitution. Republicans love Trump and their own positions more than they love the nation, and will not remove him from office. So we don't get anywhere. Trump will fail at re-election and finally be removed from office, forcibly, in January 2021.

I'd call it pretty evenly at this point, honestly. The Democrats have taken ground Trump has given them, but neither side has incurred any real casualties yet.

I'm waiting to see what happens in the Senate, not such much for the results, but for how it plays out in the media and on TV.
