@Moodswings I think it was doomed long before him, but hey...

He’s already won , hence the desperate impeachment nonsense . Impeached or not , he still wins. The senate will never convict
SW-User
@TexChik but what if he doesn't that's what I was curious about so what if?
TexChik · F
@SW-User there would have had to have been blatant ejection fraud for that to happen .... and it might actually lead to civil war . Red states don’t want their oil based economy ripped out from under them or to be over run with illegals or have Their guns confiscated .
Graylight · 51-55, F
Then a Democrat will take his place for a minimum of 4 years. Republicans and conservatives will whine and complain, saying they are blocked and have no say in government. The Democrats are not immune from this either. It's a cycle that repeats itself every 4 to 8 years.
SW-User
@Graylight politics at it's finest
Newfound · 41-45, M
@Graylight perfect answer
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
Then the U.S. will be in even more turmoil than it is already.
Our foreign relations will fall apart because no one will be commanding respect from them anymore.
Our freedom will be compromised being as the other guys and their base want the government to have even more control over them than they already do.
Sense the other side thrives on tax payer money to spend on social ideals that are proven to be corrupt and flawed as is then our economy will turn sour.
Just bad mojo straight across the board.

I edited this because MissRizza pointed out a mistake in wording I used. Where I says commanding it said demanding.
Thank you MissRizza for pointing this out. :-)
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@Dainbramadge Rock bottom the economy was not. Because Trump was elected in 2016, and not 2008. If he were then we would see how good he is, but as most people know he is not. 🙂
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@Dainbramadge Rock bottom 😂
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@QuixoticSoul That guy is always exaggerating. 😂
xRedx · M
It's very unlikely that he'll lose to any of the democratic candidates atm. I mean, if he beat Hillary, I don't think these people have a solid chance at beating Trump. That's my impartial opinion.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@xRedx Report, scandal. I didnt buy into it. You wet your clothes again. 🤭
xRedx · M
@Zonuss Report isn't scandal, you donkey. The only wet clothes here are gonna be yours when Trump gets reelected 😂🤣
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@xRedx You need diapers again. 🤭

@PainfulTruth fair view thank you for explaining
BlueVeins · 22-25
It really depends who wins. If Bernie wins, we'd probably get MFA, Wall Street Regulations, reduced global military involvement, and a much stronger scholarship program. The bank regulations and reduced warfare might not last the next president's term, but it would at least give us temporary reprieve from all these boom-bust cycles. The Democratic Party would be forced leftwards rather than their fairly centrist/moderate-right current position. If Warren wins, we'll get the same shit but less of it, and even less with Gabbard. If an empty suit like Buttigieg or Klubuchar gets elected, we'll get the same kinda asshole in the White house again next election cycle.
JessJessYay · 31-35, F
@BlueVeins Hillary failed because she isn’t a good politician, at all lol. Not because of her positions. Bernie or Warren can’t win outside of their liberal bubbles. Look at the midterms. We took back the house because of moderate candidates winning in swing districts. The extreme Democrats either lost or, if they did win, it was because they ran in an already very liberal district that any democrat would carry.
AOC couldn’t win in a suburban or rural district.
BlueVeins · 22-25
@JessJessYay It may be true that these left-wing democrats haven't gained broad support yet, but the policies Bernie is running on are generally supported by the vast majority of Americans. As soon as he's in the national debate with Trump and he gets to make his case to the public at large, it's gonna be bye-bye Donald. And Bernie's strategies are well-matched to Donald Trump's. Trump's core strategy is speaking in generalities and aiming for the throat. Sanders's core strategy is speaking a language of statistics and facts while also aiming for the throat. Klobuchar and Buttigieg can't command the same level of attention from a crowd.

The mark of a successful politician is their ability to tell a story and provide a resolution. Obama's story was a story about communities that had been left behind in the progress of the '90s and early 2000's. Trump's story was a story about a liberal elite that had sold their country to the Chinese, and let Mexicans steal all of the jobs. His solution was to get rids of those liberals, cancel the deals, and banish those Mexicans. Bernie's story is about a generation of good Americans who had had their economic opportunity stolen from them by the billionaires, and his solution is to tax the shit out of the latter to provide services for the former. Clinton's story was about a fat man who sends racist Tweets and that's why she lost. Buttigieg and Klobuchar are going to lose for basically the exact same reason. They're just not exciting.
JessJessYay · 31-35, F
@BlueVeins I agree with both sides of the left. The far left is right in that a vanilla establishment safe candidate doesn’t work. That’s been proven with Hillary, Kerry, Gore. BUT the moderate wing is correct in that far left candidates don’t win either. ie McGovern, Dukakis, or any on any national level. What win is a centrist pragmatic candidate, with charisma. So own outside Washington typically. With an ability to connect. Someone that bridges the gap between the far left and moderates. Like Bill Clinton and Obama. Both of whom were more moderate, but more left than the establishment. Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, Mayor Pete all fit that mold really well.

Things were go back to a reality normal in the political world, where the President actually does his job more than watching TV....

Of course, you'll probably have Trump pushing conspiracy theories until he's dead (and his oldest son still after that), and there will be all kinds of legal stuff as he pardon a whole bunch of people, maybe including himself on the way out, but that's if he wins or loses.

@PainfulTruth That's completely false, as one person, even the President doesn't change an entire county like that...

America didn't suddenly change like that when anyone has won or loss. Everything is basically the same as from before Trump was President, other than some pills suggestions that some conservative areas might actually vote liberal for the first time in a long time (have to wait to see if polls are correct or not).

And that's certainly not what I want, but unless your biased, it's kinda easy to see Trump has done a bad job, as all he's done is been a PR guys for himself and a fairly questionable one at that.

@Moodswings Of course.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
America will be fine. If he loses then we will get back what sanity we had left in the White House. And there will be less chaos and racial tensions because things will eventually go back to normal. I find it funny that some of these idiots here actually believe that this is the best economy that we ever had. We had a boom during the 1920's. We had an awesome run during the 1950's. Then we had another economic boom in the 1990's. So like I said we will be fine. Those who think we are doomed are people who are and were hopeless to begin with. but yeah America will survive, because that is what she does. Survive. 🙂

@Zonuss
The World Order
I see.

Funny, I would have thought that you would claim Trump to be part of the new world order conspiracy.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@Budwick Trump may not be part of it. But he is definitely rattling their feathers. And that is not good for anyone. Its gonna get worse. Just remember I told you so. 🙂
Budwick · 70-79, M
@Zonuss
Trump may not be part of it.
I wouldn't think he would take part in planning his own assassination.

But - you're the one that knows all / sees all.
Apparently you get the minutes of the new world order meetings.
[I KNEW I should have checked that off on that Publishers Clearing House magazine subscription thingy.]

Taxes will go up, spending will go up, and the government will get bigger and more powerful.
Kevin19 · 22-25, M
@JessJessYay I thought the question was what was going to happen if trump loses? That was what I answered.
JessJessYay · 31-35, F
@Kevin19 I’m assuming you support Trump, or at least conservatives policies, no?
Kevin19 · 22-25, M
@JessJessYay trump doesn’t even support conservative policies
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
Just think of the screw ball you would have for president if Trump loses!!!! Too Funny!! The demoncraps aren't even trying to win by having a serious candidate. All their candidates are duds.
HypnoChode · 46-50, M
Loses what? The election? I expect him to win again, but if he loses, I’ll definitely bring donuts in to the office the next morning.
SW-User
There will be some outcry, but it won't lead to any civil war as some people have mentioned.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@SW-User I have to agree with you. I honestly don't think anyone would want to shed blood over something like that.
I think the talk is just worry over a possible upheaval to what they feel comfortable with now.

If it even starts to look close, it may be a good idea to invest some in double or triple hedge ETF's. Those are index traded funds that run inverse to the various stock market indexes. So when the stock market collapses, the inverse ETFs will skyrocket.

Politics drives the stock markets.

With all the Democrat promises to nationalize health care, forgive student debt, raise minimum wages, raise taxes, force equality, throw open the borders, snuff out the petro-chemical and coal industries, and drop the US's pants so the Chinese can better screw us, the cumulative effect will be to drive the stock markets along with all our 401s and IRAs into the economic gutter.

As we already know, the Democrat solutions for a tanking economy is to dig a deeper pit so as to accommodate more and more of us can.

So be prepared.
daydeeo · 61-69, M
@Heartlander What?! A reasonable, well thought out answer? Curious!

The U.S. is stronger than any individual's ability to bring it down, liberal or conservative.
Some of the Democrats' proposals are so radical and so anti-capitalist, that the stock market would certainly take a beating, at least initially. How bad and for how long is the question.
Newfound · 41-45, M
He will say that there has been election fraud and file suit with the supreme court to try to stay in office.
Newfound · 41-45, M
@SW-User probably not but he might try.

@Newfound hopefully not cause that sounds petty

DunningKruger · 61-69, M
If Trump doesn't lose, then we can just give up even the pretense of being a functioning democracy. Game over, man. Game over.
SW-User
@DunningKruger you think it'll turn into a trump dynasty?
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
@SW-User No. The Trumps are just common criminals and are breathtakingly stupid. The rest of the oligarchy that benefits from this change will find someone less oblivious and divisive to serve as a figurehead.
SW-User
@DunningKruger the next puppet?
SW-User
If it's Tusli he looses to, we would be better off.

If he loses or wins, it's just going to get worse. At least if he looses and gets impeached, we would have someone better than 90 percent of what's on stage now.

When Trump loses, if he isn't removed from office first, we can focus on repairing the damage and working on the issues that concern Americans.
