what makes the US seem like a weak nation is the fact that most people struggle to make ends meet while 1% owns 38% of the country's wealth and live lavishly
it seems weak when they sent their soldiers to fight battle to make that 1% even richer, they go back home and live as homeless beggars and some cant even afford their PTSD treatment
Trump is nothing compared to the real problems

Not only does the US appear weaker, it is much weaker in practice. All a foreign power has to do is praise Trump, and they can get away with anything that they want to do. The US is no longer an impediment.

@PainfulTruth US foreign policy should be based on what is good for the US, not what is good for Trump personally, or his children. Trump has proven he works for himself first before the interests of the nation are considered.
Loretta78 · 46-50, F
@windinhishair I just can agree with you 100 %. 👍️

He tore apart the State department so he could personally make money from other dictators. The US always goes through this idiot stage when they elect really dumb presidents every 20 years starting with Reagan then Bush 43 and now whatshisname.
JonathanC · 61-69, M
Most certainly they do. Trump is a complete embarrassment, a modern-day Vidkun Quisling, America was always great until he got his hands on it with his Make Trump Richer policies.
Success · 26-30, F
Yes. Offending your allies while befriending your enemies is a recipe for future collapse in both areas.

RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@PainfulTruth You made a bit of a cunt of yourself there ..... lmfao.
DonHobag · M
Weak and an international laughing stock
Maximusmax · M
@DonHobag possibly, even if he is supported in the USA
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
Weak leadership makes the whole look weaker, sure.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
Weaker morally, economically, and politically.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
Well Putin certainly does , so mission accomplished.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@PainfulTruth What makes your ad hominem attack even more pathetic is the fact that I'm not French.

@PainfulTruth It says I live in France. So who's the stupid one ?
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
Weak is kinda the wrong word. I'd say the US is thrashing about like a wounded animal internationally. So extremely dangerous and full of energy but long-term outlook isn't exactly promising.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
Nope
JesseInTX · 51-55, M
Absolutely not
Mamapolo2016 · F
I don't know - but the number of legal immigrants continues to grow - so apparently not everyone is buying the fall of Rome scenario.
Mamapolo2016 · F
@QuixoticSoul Of course.
JP1119 · 36-40, M
@Mamapolo2016
More and more are Asian, fewer are Mexican.
Why does that matter?
Mamapolo2016 · F
@JP1119 It doesn't matter at all. To me. It was part of the statistics. I am FINE with immigration. I'm only a grandma away from immigrants.

It's like being in the same room as a drunk with a stick grenade. You know it's not gonna end well but you've no way of knowing where he's gonna chuck it or what it's gonna bounce off.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@ThePerfectUsername we got it away from obama. All safe now.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Nope. Military and border security improved. Trade being improved. Economy improved. Globalism declining.
DonHobag · M
@jackjjackson NOPE
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
I believe so. Not because of how America stands by itself, but because of how it stands with our allies. We've lost a lot of political capital with our friends. That opens vulnerabilities we are unable to cover with our own strength.
Ramon67 · 61-69, M
It was weaker under Obama
I'm not sure about weaker economically or militarily, but it should be pretty clear by now that our foreign policy and the bases for our alliances have changed dramatically.
bijouxbroussard · F
Absolutely.
