Why does Baby-trump feel the need to abuse the power he has been granted?

windinhishair · 61-69, M
Remember his statement a couple of years ago that as president, he could do anything that he wanted to. He truly believes he can, whether or not it is legal or ethical.
@windinhishair Which is saying a lot. It looks like Pence gave up his religion to join the Trump Religion.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Pitchblue True. But Barr gave up his soul to join the Trump Religion.
@windinhishair Barr never had a soul that's why he was a perfect fit for Trump.
Trump sold the 45th floor of Trump tower to the Saudis for $4.5 million in 2001 with yearly common charges of $85,585 In 2008 that entire 45th floor of Trump Tower became part of the Saudi Mission to the United Nations. Is this just one of the reasons American kids will die in a war with Iran?

as much as any president does he is not really unique
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@Firespirit Well, Rex Tillerson described Baby-trump as a moron. That's kind of unique.

@MarkPaul Yeah people are entitled to there opinions
Is it abuse if the President does it?

I thought that was in Article II?
@MistyCee Congress is supposed to be oversight over the President but with a corrupt AG, Senate and a unbalanced Supreme Court it's almost insurmountable for the Democrats.
@Pitchblue It is politically insurmountable, since the House can't actually enforce anything and Democratic leadership is afraid of the political costs of publicly fighting an unwinnable battle with impeachment.

Honestly, while I'd like to see the House at least continue to put up a show fight and maybe get a censure resolution passed, I think it may be time to stop hoping for political leadership to carry the flag.

I'm not a big fan of protests, but I think its time to stop quietly relying on the media and politicians to rally opposition to this shit show, and be damned if it feeds into MAGA persecution fears.

Trump supporters, IMO, should be denounced publicly, and while it will no doubt fuel their anger and fear, the politicians in both parties need to know and feel that this is unacceptable, that those who aid and abet Trump will face consequences, and that those who stand up against him will be rewarded.

I totally get that anyone organizing stuff like this is going to end up putting themselves in the cross-hairs of the right wing crazies and that a populist style movement to fight Trumpism would be subject to the same kind of problem that Trumpism itself presents, but the reality is, without public support, I'm afraid that "the loudest voice" will end up winning, and without doubt, I think that's Trump.

@pismo Had a million before he was 8. A good way for his father to avoid paying taxes. He grew up never having to pay for the consequences of his actions and has destroyed many peoples lives along the way. He attacked and forced one man out of business because he used his last name to promote his business. His last name was Trump. Not Drumpf
