If Trump loses the election, do you think he’ll claim that there was massive voter fraud and refuse to leave office?

MistyCee Best Comment
I'm certain of the first, but not sure of the second.
eli1601 · 70-79, M
@MistyCee Right. Trump is different. 😂
SW-User
@eli1601 i can agree with that Trump is different
eli1601 · 70-79, M
@SW-User Good for you 👍️

Thinkerbell · 41-45, F
Maybe Trump would appoint Mueller to investigate.

Oh, wait... Mueller isn't very good at investigations, at least as far as the Democrats are concerned. 😂
Sorry, not interested.
Of course  you're not interested.

Have a nice day. 🤭
Ynotisay · M
@Thinkerbell Now I'll just block you. I've run out of patience with your kind. No room anymore.
Thinkerbell · 41-45, F
@Thinkerbell

And now Ynotisay has blocked me, like several others on this site who were unable defend their untenable positions. 🤭

Nothing would surprise me...including that. Nor would I be surprised if pickup trucks full of red-hatters rolled into DC to back him up if he put the call out on Twitter for them to do so. It’ll be interesting if he loses.

@SW-User those that have gone through deprogramming have already unsheathed them and are getting some sticks in.......
Carla · 61-69, F
@SW-User such a good point.
SW-User

@PainfulTruth why the name calling? wow
Newfound · 41-45, M
Exactly @SW-User
@PainfulTruth You literally are not making any sense. Hillary lost so that literally is irrelevant. You call everyone else loons but follow it up with a completely irrational argument.
LonelyMan · M
No, but if he wins- the Dems will make that claim.
SW-User
Trump claimed voter fraud in the last election even though he won. What makes you think he won’t claim voter fraud if he loses?

@LonelyMan
LonelyMan · M
@SW-User Is that how many illegals and dead people voted for Hillary?
SW-User
@LonelyMan funny the one fraud i clear remember was a republican lady in kansas, but ims ure that was fake news, and the fact voter fraud at the levels you spuriosly claim has never been proved is fake news also.
but hey what are facts right
MissTaken · 36-40, F
Naturally he will blame someone - nothing is ever his own fault
Ynotisay · M
It's a very real possibility. He won't have a choice but to leave office but that could get messy. The fact that it would be horrific for the country wouldn't be a concern for him.
Carla · 61-69, F
@Ynotisay he has done so at rallies already. Can you imagine when he faces a loss?
@Ynotisay If he refuses to leave, in January 2021 he will be nothing more than a very high-profile trespasser. I'm more concerned about his followers rioting between the election and the next president's inauguration, especially if Trump incites them.
Ynotisay · M
@LeopoldBloom I think his hesitation on leaving might have something to do with being arrested. And yeah...I agree that he is capable of inciting violence. But, like the vast majority of his followers, I think it's all talk. And if the freaks go off they'll be taken out. But even having this conversation is something I NEVER anticipated when considering a President.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
I don't think there is any doubt that Trump will claim massive voter fraud and refuse to leave the White House when he loses. He claimed voter fraud last time that cost him a popular vote victory, even though there was no evidence of that. He also is likely to refuse to transition to the new President, so even if he is physically removed, the new Administration will be significantly hindered in the first days of 2021. It is going to be an absolute nightmare for the nation and the world.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@MistyCee Actually, that part might not be as bad as you think. Trump has refused to abide by the Records Act throughout his presidency. He has run his businesses without key records so they cannot be subpoenaed. His presidency lacks documentation of key decisions and actions, so they cannot be scrutinized later. His successor in 2021 will come in with a clean slate. Hopefully some of the senior diplomats and key agency personnel will remain and can properly inform the new Administration of what has been really going on for the past four years. There will undoubtedly be disconnects, but our former/future allies will be very glad to finally have someone in office that they can trust again.
@windinhishair It's the lack of documentation I was worried about.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@MistyCee There won't be much. We may have to rely on our allies and career diplomats to fill in the blanks. One thing you can count on is that there will be more books on the incredible four years than you can shake a stick at. Future college courses will take multiple semesters to explain the massive failure of a presidency during Trump's years. It will be interesting to see if Congress will take action to prevent a recurrence. Even Republicans know that this is a disaster in progress, but they can't say anything without risking their careers to Trump's personal attacks.
deadgerbil · 22-25, F
He most likely will step down, but based off of what he's said in the past, he'll claim the voting was rigged, that a massive amount of illegals swayed the election result, etc
FreestyleArt · 31-35, M
It's pretty much impossible for Trump to lose
Newfound · 41-45, M

@Newfound thanks, i mean he might win but it is up in air
Like2play · M
Carla · 61-69, F
If he loses, the election will surely have been "rigged". I doubt we have sunken so far to allow him to stay.
My worry is what he could do between november and january.
SW-User
I would imagine he’d start with blanket pardons for himself and his brood. @Carla
Carla · 61-69, F
@SW-User ah, yes. Pardons.

@SW-User i am also concerned about a war happening and martial law, i know not likly but a worry
SW-User
Probably. But If that happens, I’ll be laughing when secret service kicks him out of the WH.
eli1601 · 70-79, M
@SW-User 😂
Yes. And he has enough heavily armed nutjobs behind him to make one hell of a mess if he is forceably removed.
Ninersfan73 · 46-50, M
No I do not. I believe he will leave and go back to his businesses.. He makes more money doing that anyway.
No. But I know everyone in NY, LA, & SF would cum in their pants if that happened. Lol
SW-User
Nah, but in all honesty I don't think he's going to lose...
KeanuChrist · 26-30, M
If he loses he will without a doubt say it was rigged.
Poppies · 61-69, F
I think it's a possibility.
Lucia · 36-40, T
Yep. Either it will be a great election - the greatest ever. Or it will be the fault of the media, his allies and possibly someone nasty who enabled voter fraud.

He suffers from an unreasonably high amount of grandiose delusion.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
Definitely.
JT123 · M
No but when he wins you can be sure the dems will do just that! They can't pull the Russia Bs again!
SW-User
@windinhishair also very true but in terms of foreign policy mistakes id hve to give lead to bush at the moment
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@SW-User One can make a good case that Bush is ahead 2-0 on long-lasting wars of convenience.
@JT123 What if he loses? You have to admit that's a possibility. This isn't North Korea (yet) where the sitting president wins with 100% of the vote.
