Do presidents and other heads of state always have to play golf as a hobby?

Or are they allowed to do something for fun that’s actually FUN - like go see live bands? That’s what I’d do - hit some local bar, drink beer, and see some live music.

What would you do for fun and relaxation if you were a head of state?

I would spend quality time familiarizing myself with members of my staff, or letting staff get familiar with my member. I would just make sure I had a really good dry cleaner on call to cover my tracks.

I’d have a regular series of what used to be called “command performances”—with awesome performers coming to the White House to give televised concerts for the nation to see. Music, theater, readings, you name it.

Most of the professionals I know play golf. It's a networking thing. Once you become president it's a habit.

@kingkyri But think about it... you could also learn a lot about the world by drinking local beer, in local bars, listening to local music....in towns all over the world.

If I won a lottery, maybe I’d travel all over the world doing just that.
