Yes, they are. They downed an American drone back in 2011 and have certainly analysed and copied the American drone technology.

Yes they do. They are allies with countries like Russia and China who have air defense systems that can do this easily. That being said there are alot of different kinds of drones. There are small recon drones that look like toy planes I played with as a kid that fly low and relatively slow and could be shot out of the sky pretty easily.

Shooting down a drone is often relatively easy, depends on the model.

Edit: This is an MQ-9. It's not stealthy, and is easy fodder for just about any halfway-modern air defense system.

Iran buys most of their weapons from Russia and China, so they have good technology available.

Very capable! I think they would still get obliderated in an all out war but they are certainly a force to be reckoned with!

it's not hard to knock down drones, they're pretty fragile - that's kind of the point , to be cheap, unmanned and easily replaced

Why do you think about fighting? War is disaster and ofcourse USA is much more powerful then Iran.
