I’m puzzled - Trump claims the US economy is booming yet at the same time wants the Fed to slash interest rates and use other measures such as quantitative easing to boost the economy. Is he beginning to realise his tariff war is damaging the economy

If the idiot had left or raised the taxes on big buisness and wealthy and cut the tax rates on middle and low income we would be in such a better place. Instaed big buisness and the rich got richer and we all got poorer. Oh btw...Trumps buisnesses are making 11-15 million a yr on his big buisness tax cuts.

I actually asked this recently to a cybersecurity professional when he said he accepted a payroll cut by switching to a job working for the government. He said it was because he didn’t have any debt or anything because he was older.

@MarkPaul No. The economy is not doing great at all. Its like having a hole in your tyre, and sitting in the service station pumping air is just as fast as it comes out. The tire looks fine to you. But you cant disconnect that pump for a moment, because it will go flat. No chance of any real progress.

@MarkPaul No. I am actual neither left , nor right. I just speak economic truth. A buck is a buck is a buck. In the pirate days they used to clip coins to give up part of their value. But that was Okay, because everyone knew the coin was clipped and weighed it to see what was left. Trump speak is to clip the coin, then try to tell you it is worth more.
