Are you looking forward to a new President?

I'm looking forward to a media that actually does journalism

@abe182 journalism is dead it's all propaganda now

@WeighedDown so true. Goebbels would be proud
More like hoping at this point.

After 2016, I'm not going to really even assume that we'll have a new President even in 2024.

The fact that Trump could get elected even once tends to make me leary about ever trusting anything again enough to look forward to it.

I feel like I've earned my paranoia as far as faith in the American voter in 2016, in Republican officials to respect the law in the last two years, and I've seen no indication that Trump will suddenly change his spots so as to not scream about millions of fraudulent voters if he were to lose in 2020 after doing it even when he won. Why should he?

Unsupported claims like that don't even make his supporters blink twice, any more than when he flat out tells them not to believe anything they hear that contradicts what he tells them.

I'll give you, a third term would seem contrary to the Constitution, but so is accepting emoluments, and he violates the "take care" clause brazenly on a routine basis.

I'm not expecting he'll be the last elected President by any means, but I don't have enough trust in Trump, Trump voters and Trump supporters to rule it out as a possibility, no matter how remote.

I'd like to let this one finish first.

@curiosi I read yesterday on Facebook, “Vote for Trump again and make the liberals cry again.” 😉

I am not an American, and I think there's something wrong if one person has that much power.

So long as he/she is not like the present.

No, but a new suit would be nice.

Yes. He or she will be the first one we've had since Obama left in January 2017.

Pretty much
Desperately. Whichever Democratic candidate wins the primary will have my vote in Nov. 2020.
