Which nations will accept refugees from America?

When the refugees (mostly educated families at first) start leaving the United States, looking for safety and a civilised life, will your country allow them in?
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
I wouldn't worry too much about that, it's not going to be an issue.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@whowasthatmaskedman Sure whatever. You sound like every chicken little in all of history. It was Japan in the 80's and 90's. China and India in the 00's. The deficit. Social security is running out of money.

You really want the American economy to collapse? You really think that wouldn't affect you deeply?

People like you have been screaming about stuff like this for decades, yet somehow we carry on.

Sorry to disappoint you but you are slinging bullshit propaganda.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@SumKindaMunster On the contrary. It will effect everyone and I for one will mourn the passing of a great empire into history. The great American decade of Kennedy and the Moon landings held so much promise.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@whowasthatmaskedman Well sit back and relax. You have quite a wait.

The UK allowed thousands in after the 1776-1783 War. Many were from the maritime states who knew their economy would be bumpy after indepedence. Others flooded into Canada, much to that nation's benefit. As long as we ensure the hooks, crooks, bottlewashers and gun-toting lunatics don't come, we should be fine.

@SmartKat Both are great countries - and it's not too late to emigrate to Canada!
SmartKat · 56-60, F
@ThatMusgraveWoman I loved America the way it used to be. If it could go back to the way it was, I wouldn’t want to leave.
ThatMusgraveWoman · 70-79, F
@SmartKat I cannot comment really. The times I've visited, I've found the people very hospitable, but I have not been over for a few years. I would not like to think that it has fundamentally changed. There is far too much good in the United States for it to go downhill.
The fact is when it gets to that point most of the nations that would be friendly to Americans will be in the same predicament.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Good point, which is why it wont be an open door to all comers. But the doctors, Engineers, (They can keep the Lawyers) could be a useful social addition to most populations.
[c=#359E00]nope. If i'm in charge i won't allow them freely enter, i have my own qualification about who can enter and who can't enter[/c]
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@YukikoAmagi For sure.. A country must have standards.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
Maybe one of those that Trump hasn't insulted yet. Take your pick ; Russia , Saudi Arabia , North Korea.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@RodionRomanovitch You really think any of them actually like Americans?
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@whowasthatmaskedman No , I'm pretty sure they all detest them , that's why they like Trump.

Niburu · 51-55, M
New Zealand would be my first pick.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Niburu An excellent choice.
Many speculated on this in 2016...
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@bijouxbroussard And most adopted a wait and see approach.. From what I can gather, some have seen enough and are now looking at 2020 to save them. But I suspect the economy will push a whole new can of worms into the fan.
SmartKat · 56-60, F
That’s a very good question. I’d like to know, myself.
SW-User
American refuge? What are you running from? Hahahaha
SW-User
@whowasthatmaskedman That's why most countries can adapt most anywhere because they know how to live.

Americans are too tied down to their own ideals to actually adapt to anything different. Not all but most.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@SW-User I suspect Hong Kong will soon see some Chinese "adaptation"
SW-User
@whowasthatmaskedman Hong Kong is a strange one but that's another discussion
OKWTF2 · 51-55, M
I do believe in most countries they are not as insane as the open boarders left nut-jobs are currently in the US. Though it does feel also insane to think people would want to leave, but what ever.
Brianthesnail · 56-60, M
I would hope so.
Otherwise it would very hypocritical
YMITheWayIM · 46-50, M
Too remote. Sorry dude.
