Should Trump pardon the MAGA Bomber ?

The mail bomber inspired by President Donald Trump was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Monday.

Cesar Sayoc, known as the MAGA Bomber, was convicted for sending mail bombs to President Donald Trump’s enemies.

He targeted former President Barack Obama, former Vice President Joe Biden, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former Attorney General Eric Holder, former CIA Director John Brennan and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.

Also targeted were Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) and Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA).

@helenS ah! high treason! I think they still hang draw and quarter for that :)
helenS · 36-40, F
@firefall 😂
No, but he’s probably considered it.
@daisymay But right now Trump’s having to say things everyone knows he doesn’t mean (“there’s no room for racism in our country”, “White supremacy must be denounced”,etc).
Too bad he couldn’t have pardoned him before this weekend’s shootings. Meh, timing. 🤨

@bijouxbroussard It almost makes one want to feel sorry for him. It's a really tough break.

But, as we've already learned on SW today, it COULD be the deep state that ordered those conservative martyrs to go on their murder spree, so maybe they'll get a chance to pardon the MAGABomber after they arrest Hillary and Obama and Soros and ....
@daisymay You mean...it was all just a liberal plot to make conservatives look like crazy, violent, bloodthirsty racists ?
Whoa. 🤯

@BlueRain awww ..... did I make you look silly ? Sorry bout that.

@BlueRain
Mine is obvious lol
Deflection noted. Or perhaps you'd like to name it?
What is yours?
The defense attorney and his presented defense.

Once again, it seems that conservatives can't honestly engage on any topic.

No, he should not be pardoned
daisymay · 51-55, T
@calicuz Why not? He was only trying to make America great again. I thought that's what you guys wanted, right?
calicuz · 51-55, M
@daisymay

Stop trying to start an argument
daisymay · 51-55, T
@calicuz You seem a little bent out of shape because of "arguments". I think you should go back and read who wrote what, because it wasn't I.

In the meantime, you could try some butthurt cream, I guess.

No. And Trump shouldn't be pardoning drug dealers either.
SmartKat · 56-60, F
A pardon coming from a crook is meaningless.
daisymay · 51-55, T
@SmartKat It's still a pardon, though. Should he do it, I don't think it can be undone.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
Another right-wing hate crime. At least he was caught and punished.
helenS · 36-40, F
Is a presidential self-pardoning possible in the US? Would that be legal?
firefall · 61-69, M
@helenS thats up for argument, but it may be .. and given the make up of the SCOTUS, probably will be ruled to be.
helenS · 36-40, F
@firefall Thank you.
UserNameSW · 46-50, M
The pardons will come start in his last year in office.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@UserNameSW If he's re-elected Manafort's will come the following day.
