Pelosi knows the Senate numbers arent on her side, so its probably a waste of time and politicking of the worst kind which will annoy voters.
Plus. If the Republicans wanted to get rid of Trump, this way they could blame the democrats and put Pence in the chair with clear air until election time. He might just win. You want Pence there for a full term?
As it is the stink of Trump will sink the Republicans, and once he is out of office he wont be immune from prosecution.
Maybe there is method in her madness.

Realistically:

1. The Senate is not going to vote to impeach. Even Romney is not likely to do it.

2. An impeachment hearing, is likely to take resources away from trying to push the Infrastructure and real investigations into Trump's behavior.

3. An "in your face" vote in the House, while satisfying to some, may look childish when the dust settles.

4. Even if he gets impeached, that will only get us Pence in the Oval. Pence is more likely to win a second term than Trump

I believe he should be impeached, but I don't see the point, right now.

Stop looking for another reality TV moment to feed your washed-up, instant gratification intoxicated life.
