What do you think about Antifa?

It has long been my opinion that if an organization includes hoods or masks as part of their ‘political statement’ they are dangerous.

Fucking limp-wristed, purple haired, mask wearing, basement dwelling, soy boy motherfuckers

They're becoming what they despise..
Violent and thuggish..
Nazi's with a different flag..

Domestic terrorism group

Terrorists.

It's a VERY small group of individuals, with no organized leadership, that has decided fighting fire with fire is the best course of action. They're the mirror image of what we see on the right although in far less numbers. Weak, whining, underachieving idiots with a need to belong to a group that blames others. And the big down side is that it plays in to victimhood narrative that is constantly fed to Conservatives. They LOVE feeling persecuted which is why, in their minds, it's only a matter of time before millions of Antifa members are marching down the street. Just like immigrant caravans that never arrive.

They're listed as a terrorist organization by the FBI, and I think they should be treated as such.

Any organization that uses violence to achieve their means should be condemned, whether they are on the left or right.

Fuck those punks

I like their idea, I love the idea of counter-marching aginst alt-right, white-supremacist nazi's. That part is awesome.

I don't mind them coming prepared, its well known that alt-right folks come prepared for violence, so I don't see a problem with coming prepared to meet violence.

However, I have a problem when they start something first and I have a problem with any kind of property damage.

The problem is that its an open barely coherent group, made up of cells all over the place. There is no real central idea or a central group you could complain to if you didn't like the way your local group runs.

So it has problems, BUT overall I like them, its like a 70/30 split.

No I don't think or believe their violence can in anyway be called justified. And the same would be applicable to others who have in the name of "justice" committed acts of violence.

Let's see. A rabid left wing violent group of punks demonstrating, with violence, how terrible violence is. What's to say?

They're a loosely organized group (or rather, a bunch of groups under one label) that imagine violence and suppression is the only way to achieve their utopia. Typically they go in with a "you're with us or you're against us" attitude, and have been known in publicized videos to attempt sneak attacks on anyone with dissenting views.

Not a fan, but I don't like the other side either.

It is more an ideology then an organization and so different individual groups vary wildly in composition and tactics. In my city the are the muscle who make sure skinheads don't attack union members and their families on May Day.

Is Antifa an organization? Do they have a web site? A spokesperson? A charter? Where does one get an application to join?

They aren't an organization at all - and yeah, obviously too much free time.
