Siple question about a simple fact...

Prior to Trump stating that he wanted to build a wall at the southern border, I don't think I heard one story about the border or the situation with illegal immigrants. Only by discovering that the photos of caged children which inflamed so many sensibilities were taken in the year 2014 was I made aware that there was any issue under Obama at all. I believe, quite honestly, that the media protected Obama and downplayed these issues because the media are 90% controlled by the Democrat Party.

It's not all about Trump hate. It's about the fact that Trump snatched away their power. We only hear, on the news, issues that will play for the benefit of one party or the other. When we hear so much outrage against Trump, it is, in fact, outrage that power and money was taken away from the Democrat Party.

Those now bereft of the power to which they feel entitled will take any word that drops from Trumps mouth and blow it all out of proportion, but Trump really gave them a gift when he said he wanted to build a wall. He also gave the drug cartels a great gift, because while Trump is occupied in trying to stem the tide of illegals, the cartels are getting VERY rich with the Democrat Socialist party running interference for them. Their coyotes are raking it in, and their drugs are flooding in using illegals as a distraction.

What it's about is power and money...lots of money. The Democrats might as well be working for the drug cartels, and...maybe they are.

It wasn't the same thing and, in fact, they're was a policy [i]against[/i] family separation. The treatment wasn't the same, now was the motivation behind the tactics.

People only started to become aware of how bad the centres were late in Obama's tenure. It didn't make the news much, and that includes conservative news. Slow burning problem.

Trump meanwhile has instituted harsher policies on the border during a major refugee crisis from Central America like zero tolerance and child separation. Result is mass overcrowding and uncared for children in already bad facilities so it escalates to full blown crisis.

There are about 25 million 18-25 years old that couldn’t vote 8 years ago. Watch change happen.

Those facilities weren't meant to hold migrants for months at a time only a few hours until they found a more suitable facility ..trump is using it as a deterrent ,The other presidents were not using it as such ..its what happens when you have a president who doesn't believe treating other humans as humans regardless of their status

What ever king Obama did was fine, he could have killed kittens while raping a baby on live TV and it would have been fine. They hate Trump and no matter what he does they will find fault. That's why they are "useful idiots".

I'll confess, my "Trump Hate" has a lot to do with my paying attention to the whole situation.

I'd take more issue with what you're saying but doing so would quickly expose my callousness towards human suffering compared to my sensitivity towards those willing to use it for personal and political gain.

Democrats know that if Trump fixes our immigration laws, secures our borders they will lose the election. Better to hate Trump than fix our problems.

There is nothing factual about your statement. These facilities were not meant to be semi-permanent detainment centers. But, this is the Fox line these days. It helps Trump sell his bullshit, and you're certainly buying.
