What's the best cure for a tickly cough ?

VictoriaU · 41-45, F
Needing the loo.. Cures me every time!
SW-User
@VictoriaU well, if having to go to the bathroom cures a tickling cough in your throat, something could be backed up? I'm not a doctor, so I'm just guessing.
VictoriaU · 41-45, F
@SW-User Oh I see...! No...I wouldn't say needing the loo cures the tickly cough...but it definitely concentrates my mind to stop coughing!
SW-User
@VictoriaU Oh!!! Aha!!! That makes sense. Plus, I'm relieved that reliving yourself is not something you need to see a doctor about.lol

Honey tea works pretty darn good.

@SW-User THanks :)
beckyromero · 36-40, F
Just kick the person who is coughing out of the room. That will get the cough out of earshot.

@beckyromero I love how this comment is not only funny, but relevant to what's going on in the world around us at the present time. 👍👍

Gargle with salt water and or spritz your throat with choroseptic spray. Both of these work for me. Just got over having an irritated throat. Also chicken soup and drink 8 glasses of water a day and the number one nutrient to take is vitamin D3..if I get a cold it's never as bad as other peoples! I never get super bad colds anymore!
Nimbus · M
@SW-User Good advice.
Thanks.

@SW-User how I love honey...let me count the ways🤔

It's usually caused by post-nasal drip, even if you can't feel your sinuses dripping. I have been tormented by a bad cough all spring this year. I take Flonase nasal spray and follow that up with two tablets of suphedrine decongestant, (otherwise I get a sinus infection).
Nimbus · M
@4meAndyou Will research.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F

Tickly cough sounds like allergies. Look into allergy medication.
