AI don't like Trump or most American politicians come to think of it but there are plenty of legitimate reasons to question his fitness for leadership without fear mongering about imaginary Russian aggression.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow
if you bothered to actually read the speech...
I actually DID read the speech.
Included the part when Putin described the breakup of the Soviet Union as the greatest catastrophe of the 20th Century.
History Lesson:
Texas and California broke away from Mexico before becoming part of the United States.
Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania were INDEPENDENT nations that were INVADED by the Soviet Union in September 1939 and incorporated into the U.S.S.R.

@beckyromero lol. Well you clearly ignored any part that didn't confirm your propaganda.
I am aware of that. I am trying to get you to see how chaotic having a couple of politicians arbitrarily disbanding such a massive country was. But I guess you can't feel empathy for the "other" you were taught to hate.
All of those countries were and largely are again fascist and sympathetic to nazism. They fought for the nazis along with Romania and Hungary but you conveniently left that out. The Baltic states are one of the only places in Europe where they have annual parades in honor of the Waffen SS and thanks to America so does Ukraine and the have sent delegates to the marches in the Baltics since 2014.
Something you also conveniently left out is unlike Russia the US actually invaded the Soviet Union and attempted to overthrow the government. Your stunt only works if the person you are debating doesn't understand history or current events.

Hate to break the news to you, but Romania and Hungary were never part of the U.S.S.R.
Ukraine was a free and independent nation after World War I until the civil war and intervention by the Red Army led to it being incorporated into the Soviet Union.
Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania were INVADED by the Soviets and dismembered. So they actually didn't get a chance to fight against the Nazis.
Finally, the Soviet Union was EQUALLY guilty of invading Poland in September 1939.

Not sure what that sentence is supposed to mean.
But, yes, the U.S. (and other Allied nations) sent troops to Russia during their civil war. Maybe the Ruskies shouldn't have signed a separate peace with the Kaiser.

The oil part of the equation is smaller than ever in strategic terms - especially since we're technically an net-exporting country these days. These days, energy concerns are a smaller aspect of the Great Game.

@QuixoticSoul A lot of that is based on shale fracking which even the industry's own numbers demonstrate is a ponzi scheme.
