If someone has to publicize his or her net worth is it a clue that those who’re far wealthier exist somewhere quietly in the abyss?

To be honest, he's likely lying. Those who are truly rich don't need publicity. They prefer to live as they are.

I personally don't give a hoot about a person's net worth...when someone has it and flaunts it I see them as conceited, arrogant, shallow, and so on. When someone brags about it I find myself doubting the truth of it, and that they are just trying to impress people and win friends...I find it kind of pathetic.

Douchebags would do that. They want to impress other people. There was a student at the university that was always doing it, buying and showing off status clothing items and posting photos on Facebook. He begged for a vacation to Paris after he graduated high school and after so much the father gave in and bought him a ticket, he went by himself, took selfies and posted on Facebook bragging about what he was doing or buying. Come to find out he stole his grandma’s credit card before he left and she put some charges on him. He killed his parents & sister while he was a freshman in college hoping to get an inheritance...his butt is in prison now.

If anyone has vast wealth and wants to prove it, they can deposit it in my PayPal account so I can look at it up close. I'll give it right back. I promise.
