All politicans in a vote should have to take a test about general knowledge of politics, history, philosophie. geography, economics and science.

same questions for everyone to keep it fair, a 2 hour test where they have to proof their mental capacity for the job.

I personally believe that people should research their candidates before voting for them. Stop listening to MSM and do research. An informed decision is a powerful decision.

The education of the politician is important but not as important as their ability to represent the people that voted for them.

@TheunderdogofNY its still a vote... but that was the voters can easily see how capable a candidate is
TheunderdogofNY · 36-40, M
@Sunshine04 As far as being educated? Possibly. But if that's the case during research you could look up your potential candidate's education and previous work history which should be made readily available. In fact all their credentials should be made readily available.

If that kind of thing matters to you. What matters to me is their ability to stand firm on issues that matter to the people that voted for them.

In addition, they need to excel at negotiating when things come to a stalemate.

I completely agree. I'd also add a psychological evaluation (although this may have ruled out several who are known as great leaders, because they suffered depression). At the very least, a world leader should have some sense of empathy for the people they are leading.

I agree. I'll never forget that time we were remembering Pearl Harbor and Joe Biden said the Germans bombed it! That was from the then VP Lol
Sunshine04 · F
@JT123 exactly.. or where the current president doesnt know the difference between balcan and baltics
JT123 · M
@Sunshine04 that goes both ways I'm sure. I doubt leaders of other countries know every name and part of the USA
Sunshine04 · F
@JT123 yeah... but thats what i would want politicans to know. i mean its like a job interview they give you tests there too

By the time they are elected and sworn in it's too late. This should have been part of the election cycle. I hate uninformed voters simply voting in the popularity contest. Smdh

Do you think the amount of those passing would be enough to form a quorum?
Cierzo · M
Not only politicians, but also voters.
gregloa · 61-69, M
Wow ok only the republicans would have a chance 😂

Dann hätten wir alle keine Politiker mehr
MethDozer · M
No. That sounds good in theory but in practice is creating another elite class and is a form of thought control.
Sunshine04 · F
@MethDozer the only thing worse then elites is having no elites.
