That's funny, but it's a gag. 2nd amendment folks aren't crazy. The crazy ones are the people who still blame firearms rather than mental illness, and generations that virtually grew up without parents. Read "Lord of the Flies" That is the dynamic we have today that causes school shootings. When I was in high school Juniors and seniors had about 12 pickup trucks in the school parking lot with fully loaded gun racks and ammo, you never heard of any school shootings then. Crazy shit happened once in a blue moon, but that has been going on for 50,000 years. There were no school shootings, and people didn't cut themselves. We need to slap some sense into about 84 million people in this country.

@puck61 I've read Golding's work, and I know to what you refer. But honestly, as an outsider to the USA, I'd say that mental illness is not going to be fixed any time soon. So you'd all probably be safer if none of you had access to firearms. And I don't understand the resistance to the suggestion.
