Trump’s steel and aluminium tariffs cost US consumers $900,000 a year for every job saved.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/trump-tariffs-steel-aluminium-jobs-consumers-cost-a8904366.html

This is the logic only a person who lost over a billion dollars would support...

Oh, wait...

That’s why the economy is higher than Obama ever hoped to see ...and best in the world ? CNN nonsense points are just that. Trump is the only President that dared to stop the unfair trade practices that took billions from
America. We have a steel industry thanks to Trump. Obama tried to kill it and claimed those jobs were gone forever.

@OggggO Only they would crank out stupid crap like that in the face of amazing economic news and affirmation that the Trump Russia scam is over , except for the prosecution of the perpetrators .

@TexChik Or you could pull your head out of Trump’s ass and look at her actual source.

@Greybare Man I am so fucking sick of having to pretend assholes like you give a shit about having an actual discussion instead of spouting shit to piss people off.

@Greybare It would only be that high if every single one of those jobs was attributable to the tariffs. I doubt even you would make such a ludicrous claim. Also, it’s that many dollars per year, not per month. You should really read before typing if you are going to try to use numbers.

Which Americsns? I certainly didn't. You must be talking about someone that makes profits from sending jobs overseas and importing products likewise.
OggggO · 36-40, M
@SteelHands You didn’t what? Your comment makes no sense.

@OggggO You said average people lost money. I said I didn't. Get continuity.

Its not that simple. And trump has the nations most brilliant minds working on it and advising him. I’m a big Larry kudlow fan, a genius economic advisor.
OggggO · 36-40, M
@bert199 No, Trump does not.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@OggggO And even if Trump had the best minds in the nation working on it, he doesn't listen to them. He listens only to himself.
OggggO · 36-40, M
@windinhishair I’m not sure he does, given his constant denial of his own actions.

I started watching his "off the cuff comments" last night

I felt brain cells leaving my body as he tried to combine a few facts with an attempt at stand up comedy.

It is so weird to watch - I swear it's like some bad 80s comedy
